چکیده

Abstract The present study examines whether self-reported trust in humans and [(different) products with built-in] artificial intelligence (AI) are associated one another brain structure. We sampled 90 healthy participants who provided AI underwent structural magnetic resonance imaging assessment. found that humans, as measured by the facet of personality inventory NEO-PI-R, products, items assessing attitudes toward a composite score based on in-built AI, were not significantly correlated. also used concomitant dimensional neuroimaging approach employing data-driven s ource-based morphometry ( SBM ) analysis gray-matter-density to investigate neurostructural associations each domain. was negatively (and significantly) correlated an component encompassing striato-thalamic prefrontal regions. did observe significant association AI. findings provide evidence seem be dissociable constructs. While personal disposition might “hardwired” brain’s architecture (at least from individual differences perspective), corresponding link for observed. These represent initial step elucidating how different forms processed behavioral level.

Toward a Unified Artificial Intelligence

To integrate existing AI techniques into a consistent system, an intelligent core is needed, which is general and flexible, and can use the other techniques as tools to solve concrete problems. Such a system, NARS, is introduced. It is a general-purpose reasoning system developed to be adaptive and capable of working with insufficient knowledge and resources. Compared to traditional reasoning s...

Toward Designing for Trust in Database Automation

Appropriate reliance on system automation is imperative for safe and productive work, especially in safetycritical systems. It is unsafe to rely on automation beyond its designed use; conversely, it can be both unproductive and unsafe to manually perform tasks that are better relegated to automated tools. Operator trust in automated tools mediates reliance, and trust appears to affect how opera...

Toward Trust and Reputation Based Web Service Selection: A Survey

Using trust and reputation mechanisms offers a promising way to solve the web service selection problem. The investigation of trust and reputation systems in other areas can provide valuable observations and approaches that can be used in web service systems. Therefore, this paper presents a systematic review of various trust and reputation systems and proposes a typology to classify them from ...
